The Greek french fry. Serve them as is, or drench them in Greek mountain oregano and squeeze a whole lot of lemon over them as I do. Either way, you win.
Ingredients:
4 small yellow potatoes, peeled and cut into long thick pieces
1 cup Fancy Peasant GEVOO
Salt
Oregano
Method:
Salt potatoes generously and mix well.
In a pan (ideally one where you can lay each potato in one layer), add oil about 1-inch high.
Once oil is sizzling, add potatoes. Fry for 8-10 minutes (turning half-way) until golden brown.
