"One tin of the 1L and I knew I needed to go bigger. The 3L is the smarter buy if you cook with olive oil daily. Same incredible quality, better value."
"So many olive oils blend from multiple countries and farms. Knowing this comes from one estate in Lechania, Greece, gives me such peace of mind about what I'm putting in my body."
"I genuinely cannot say enough good things. The flavor profile is complex and bright. It smells incredible. It makes everything I cook taste elevated. I am a Fancy Peasant customer for life."
"The 3L does require a bigger upfront investment but the per-ounce cost is better and you have the quality oil that makes everything taste better for longer. 100% worth it."
"The best olive oil I have ever tasted! Glorifies every dish. Truth from a 100% Greek discerning foodie !"
"My yiayia used to import olive oil from her village and this is the closest I've found to that flavor in the U.S. The fact that it's single estate and early harvest makes such a difference. You can actually taste the difference in quality."
"I used to be someone who grabbed whatever was cheap at the grocery store. A friend recommended Fancy Peasant and now I understand what all the hype around good olive oil is about. It has actual FLAVOR. It's a whole experience."
"Okay I know that sounds intense but that's literally what I do now. A small shot of this every morning with lemon. My skin looks better, my digestion is smoother, and I just feel… good. The flavor is peppery and grassy and so fresh. Worth every penny."
"I used to have avocado oil, coconut oil, ghee, sesame oil… the whole lineup. I've replaced them all with this. Fancy Peasant is right that it really does work for everything. High smoke point, beautiful raw flavor — I just need this one."
Before there were “superfoods”, there was olive oil and its origin stems from Greece. Four thousand years later, olive oil is still celebrated for its medicinal properties. Our 100% Koroneiki GEVOO produces increased levels of specific phenolic ingredients (oleocanthal and oleacein). With Fancy Peasant GEVOO, you get a high level of these bioactive polyphenols which are antiangiogenic, anti-inflammatory, and have unique anticancer properties.
The everything GEVOO replaces your coconut oil, avocado oil, ghee, pumpkin seed oil, walnut oil, grape seed oil, peanut oil, sesame oil, hemp seed oil, flaxseed oil, sunflower seed oil, canola oil, vegetable oil… and makes space in your pantry.
The beauty of our GEVOO is that it can be used on truly every style dish - be it making an egg scramble, salad dressing, baked fish, soups, and beyond. See our recipe library, or checkout our 5 Fancy Peasant favorites for inspiration.
Our oil comes from a single-estate olive grove in Greece, located in Lechania, a village in the West Peloponnese region. The grove lies close to the Ionian Sea at a certain height above sea level that provides a unique microclimate for premium quality extra virgin olive oil.
