Apple Cake

Nothing says fall like this beautiful apple cake.

Apple Cake


  • 3 diced apples
  • 4 oz of sugar
  • 2 oz of butter
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

    For the Dough:
  • 1 egg
  • 3 oz of organic sugar
  • 4 oz of butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 9 oz of flour
  • Powdered sugar (optional)


  1. Knead the dough.
  2. Divide it into two equal parts.
  3. Place one half in the refrigerator for 10 minutes after wrapping it with plastic.
  4. Spread the other half of the dough over the entire surface of a small baking pan.
  5. Sauté the apples.
  6. Let it cool a bit
  7. Pour the sautéed apples into the pan on top of the dough.
  8. On top of the apples, grate the other half of the cooked dough in the refrigerator.
  9. Bake at 340F for 30 minutes.
  10. Let it cool and add a little powdered sugar if you fancy, or serve with ice cream!
