Olive Oil Kourabiedes

The Christmas Cookie but with Liquid Gold.

Olive Oil Kourabiedes


  • 2 Cups of GEEVO
  • 1 lb 6 oz of All Purpose Flour
  • 7oz of Sugar
  • 1/3 cup cognac of your choice
  • 4 oz of walnuts (chopped)
  • 2 tbs of baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tbs of vanilla


  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the olive oil, sugar, cognac, cinnamon, and vanilla until the ingredients dissolve.
  • Add the flour together with the baking powder and the walnuts.
  • Mix with your hand until you have a uniform and soft dough.
  • Form patties (about 2 oz each), and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • We press them lightly to make a dimple in the middle.
  • Bake the kourabiedes in the oven for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Take them out of the oven, let them cool for 3-4 minutes.
  • sprinkle with a little powdered sugar.
