Turkey and Oat Meatballs

We make these magic meatballs a lot. They are rich in fiber and protein, and the kids absolutely love them. I even serve them at dinner parties and eat them in a salad the next day. I love making them in big batches. In this recipe, I pan fry, but you can pop them in the oven to bake as well.

Turkey and Oat Meatballs

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound organic, grass fed turkey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup of whole milk, or milk alternative
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons dill (if your kids like)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Fancy Peasant GEVOO

Method:

  1. Cover the bottom of a pan with GEVOO
  2. Once oil is hot, reduce to medium heat. Add spoonfuls of mixture into pan using a tablespoon.
  3. Cook each meatball for 5 minutes on each side with lid on.
  4. Remove and place on a paper towel to soak up any access oil before serving.
