As the crisp air settles in, I find myself looking back on a summer that was nothing short of magical. Our partnership with Duryea's was a whirlwind of flavors, laughter, and unforgettable moments that I'm excited to share with you all.
Fancy Peasant brought a taste of Greece out East in partnership with renowned Chef Philippe of Duryea’s. Together, we embarked on a culinary adventure, infusing Fancy Peasant Liquid Gold into flavorful dishes that celebrated the essence of summer.
The star of the show? A delicate Scallop Crudo and a Tarragon Tahini Dip that captivated diners' senses. Each dish not only delighted taste buds but also offered impressive nutritional benefits:
Scallop Crudo: Rich in protein, vitamin B12, and omega-3 fatty acids, supporting brain function and heart health.
Tarragon Tahini Dip: Packed with healthy fats, protein, and minerals like calcium and iron. Tahini's antioxidants may offer cellular protection, while tarragon adds potential digestive benefits.
Both dishes, prepared with our Fancy Peasant Liquid Gold, received an extra boost of heart-healthy monounsaturated fats and antioxidants, embodying the health-promoting principles of the Blue Zone lifestyle.
For those who wanted to take a piece of this experience home, we created an exclusive Duryea's x Fancy Peasant bundle. Walking into Duryea's Orient Point was like stepping into a little slice of Fancy Peasant heaven. Our branded surfboard stood proud, catching eyes and sparking conversations and tables adorned with our GEVOO tins invited diners to indulge in the Fancy Peasant experience.
We invited 20 incredible women who embody the spirit of Fancy Peasant – influential, passionate, and always up for a good time - for a luncheon to celebrate the partnership. It truly embodied some of my favorite Blue Zone principles - eating wisely and connecting with loved ones. Check out more of the pictures below - it was truly the best time.
As I reflect on this partnership, I'm filled with gratitude. Gratitude for the Duryea's team who embraced our vision, for Chef Philippe who brought it to life on the plate, and for each and every one of you who came out to taste, see, and experience what happens when Fancy Peasant dreams big.
